BDSM session sexual practices related to sadomasochism, domination and submission, represent a vast range of possibilities in terms of paraphernalia, associated emotions and uses as diverse as the human beings who practice it. Because of this, we conducted a study to understand sexual practices related to BDSM, under the gaze of its own practitioners. For this, a qualitative methodology with a type of emergent and projected design was used. Eight in-depth interviews were conducted with men and women in Venezuela, the data was analyzed through the constant comparison method in order to generate grounded theory. This article emerges as part of the results of a larger study. Among the most outstanding findings was the importance of limits.
